When do you need antibiotics?
As a healthcare provider, Dr. Lessing has been receiving lots of texts and emails from patients lately, asking if they need antibiotics for their illness. While antibiotics can be a helpful tool for treating bacterial infections, they’re not always necessary.

Tylenol? Ibuprofen? Both?
It’s not uncommon for patients to wonder whether they should take ibuprofen or Tylenol when they’re feeling unwell. If you’re a generally healthy adult without liver disease, kidney disease, stomach ulcers, or other chronic diseases, you can take both ibuprofen and Tylenol at the same time.
